Welcome to Quay Holiday Lettings! These terms outline how we work with owners and guests using our services at https://quay-holiday-lettings-yeotugmxaanx3e8f.builder-preview.com. By engaging with us (e.g., listing a property or booking), you agree to these terms. If you don’t, please don’t proceed.

Cookies

We use cookies to make our website work smoothly and personalise your visit (e.g., remembering your form inputs). Required cookies are always on – you can’t opt out as they run the site. Optional cookies (for stats or marketing) can be declined via your browser settings. Some third-party services (like booking platforms) may also use cookies – check their policies.

Our Service for Owners

• What we do: We list your Salcombe/South Hams property on Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, and our site (direct bookings from Jan/Feb 2026). We handle guest enquiries, bookings, payments, cleaning, and key handovers via trusted local suppliers.

• Fees: 14% + VAT commission per booking (no hidden extras).

• Your role: You must keep your property safe, insured, and compliant with UK regulations (e.g., gas/electrical safety, fire risk assessments).

Bookings & Payments

• Bookings are agreements between you (the owner) and the guest, with us as your agent.

• Payments are collected via platforms or us, paid to you monthly minus our fee.

Cancellations & Refunds

• Follow your property’s cancellation policy (set when you join us). We’ll manage guest communication but can’t override your terms.

Liability

• We’re not liable for guest damage, accidents, or property issues – that’s covered by your holiday-let insurance.

• You’re responsible for compliance; we advise but don’t guarantee it.

Ending Our Agreement

• Either side can end with 30 days’ notice., however commission for bookings received via Quay will still be due.

Intellectual Property

All content on our site (photos, text) is ours or our licensors’. You can’t copy, sell, or redistribute it without permission.

Links to Other Sites

We link to booking platforms or local guides. We’re not responsible for their content or privacy practices – check theirs separately.

Changes to Terms

We can update these terms anytime. Continued use means you accept the changes.

Disclaimer

This site and services are provided as-is. We’re not liable for losses (beyond legal limits) since it’s free to use. Exceptions: death, injury, or fraud – we’re covered by law there.
